This morning I was looking at where I had created the 'Resident Directory Project' page on the Web site and something just wasn't setting right with me. It didn't make sense where I had put it. Sooooo - This morning I have rearranged some things.

 

In order for everyone to keep up-to-date on the Latest & Greatest concerning this project, I have moved the main 'project' Web site page to HERE. This page is listed under the EVENTS tab.

If you only need the the instructions along with the confidential info to log into the photo shoot 'online scheduling site' all of that is still in the 'Residents' section HERE.

​​Email Sent 2026-10-27:  Resident Directory, Project Info and Photo Shoot Registration - 

    Here's a reminder and update on our new Resident Directory. The Committee working on this project met today and we are pleased to share the following information concerning the project itself, when photos will be taken and how to schedule your photo shoot.

 

    We have set up dates in December, January and February to have your photos taken. In these photos you can dress up as much as you'd like or dress way down if that's more your style. Do you have "furry" kids? Include them. Do you have any props that help describe your personality or where you're from? Use them.

 

    The directories are free and include an 8 x 10 portrait of your choice. You will also be able to purchase extra photos for Christmas, birthday or anniversary gifts, for example, from wallet size to 20" x 24" portraits. If you're not able to make any of the photo dates but would still like to have a photo in the directory, you may submit a photo you already have that you like for $15.

 

    The dates we set aside are December 21, 22 & 23, January 25 & 26, and February 1 & 2 from 12:00 pm - 6:30 pm in Retzlaff Hall. We encourage those of you who will physically be in Sunshine on any of the December dates to schedule your shoot then.

 

    We plan to start making phone calls to residents in a couple weeks to reserve time slots.  But if you would like to sign up sooner to secure a spot in a timeslot that works best for you, you can sign up anytime online starting today by following the directions below.
NOTE: Because this company mainly does church directories, for our username and password, they refer to church code and church password.

Also, keep in mind that we have a great group of ladies on our committee, but we will welcome any volunteers that would like to help out on the photo days.

​Newsletter 2026-11: Sunshine Country Club Estates Photo Directory - 

It's been a few years since there's been a resident directory and we decided it's about time for a new one. Soon we'll begin calling residents to set up appointments to have your photos taken. Feel free to dress up or dress down. If you have furry "kids", they are welcome as well. The photo dates are as follows:
 

 December 21, 22 & 23 
January 25 & 26 
February 1 & 2 
 

The time for these dates is from 12 Noon until 6:30pm. If you are unable to make it to any of the photo days, you may submit a photo of your choice for a $15 fee. The directories are free, plus you'll receive an 8 x 10 portrait of your choice since there will be more than one photo taken. If you would like additional pictures, you may order as many as you'd like for an additional cost. Newsletter 2026-10: 

Sunshine Country Club Estates will be creating a new directory this winter!  Pictures will be taken in December 2026, as well as January & February 2027.  A member of our team will be contacting you to set up a date and time for your photo session. Each household will receive a complimentary 8 X 10 portrait and a directory.  Additional prints can be purchased. Your pet can also be included in your portrait! More information and directions will be available in the November SEPO Newsletter.

​​Newsletter 2026-03: Resident Picture Directory -  

Back in November when I was filling in for Valerie during her vacation, a representative from Universal Church Directories stopped in to talk about creating a photo directory for our community. I took all the information, thinking that this would be a wonderful thing to do during our 2026-2027 season (our last directory was done in 2020-2021).

 

I presented this project to the SEPO board at the February 9th board meeting, and it was approved as a SEPO sponsored event.  At the Women’s Club meeting on February 20th, I talked about this project hoping to get a committee started.  A huge thank you to Judy Stone and Jill Ventrello for chairing this project.  Here is a summary of the details we know now:

• Dates of photo sessions: several days in both December 2026 & January 2027 (exact dates TBD).

• Every household photographed by Universal will receive a FREE 8 X 10 portrait and directory booklet.

• Universal will provide a professional studio right here in our community.

• If you have pets, you are allowed to include them in your photo(s).

• Bring props that express you and your personality such as instruments, sports equipment and hobby items.

• The photo you pick for the directory booklet will also be posted on our community website under the secure resident section.

• This photo directory project is open to homeowners and renters – we hope all of you will participate in getting your photo taken.
