Sent 2026-02-18: WHILE I'M ON VACATION: SEPO Email distribution and website updates -
I wanted to repeat a SEPO Communications update that I made during the Annual Shareholders meeting yesterday. I will be on vacation (out of the country and unreachable for most of it) from Mar 7 thru Mar 16. During that timeframe I do have a backup who will be sending emails for me. However, there won't be any website updates made during this timeframe.

I'll send another reminder before I leave, but please, keep your emails to 'verbiage only' while I'm gone, if at all possible. If this changes after my training session with my backup, I'll let everyone know.

Thx for your understanding.

And I might as well put my request in for the following right now. Starting next winter season, my goal is to have one or two of you great Sunshiner's to start assisting me with emails AND website updates. I've been at this for over five years now and need to start thinking about 'at least' sharing the joy of serving this great community 😊.

Sent 2026-02-15: IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUIRED: ILLEGAL BALLOT FOUND ON FLOOR OF OFFICE JUST NOW -
I was in the office just now and found a #10 envelope with the 'handwritten' word Ballot across the front of it lying on the floor. That envelope is not submitted according to voting instructions and if not corrected prior to 1 PM this Tuesday (I can assist you with doing that) it is considered a 'NOT IN FAVOR' vote for the ballot(s) that appear to be inside this envelope.
Your ballot(s) must be submitted inside of the #9 white envelope that has the word BALLOT typed on the front of it. Then the BALLOT envelope must be placed inside the #10 'Attendance Proxy' envelope and sealed. Both of these envelopes were included in your voting packet.
Would the person who left that on the Office floor over this weekend please call me immediately so I can work with you to get your vote submitted correctly, in order for it to be counted as you had originally intended. Again - right now it will be counted as a 'not in favor' vote along with 'no votes' for any of the Board Candidates.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Good Morning All,
We have moved the fishing club meeting originally scheduled for tomorrow, February 11th to February 18th to avoid conflict with the concert series that many residents also attend.

We will review survey responses and determine the best overall date and time to meet in the future. Brenda and Lori will present information regarding fishing charter options and will plan a charter based on feedback from attendees. This will be an informal meeting, not a business meeting. Please come and provide input on how we move forward with our club.
We appreciate your flexibility and look forward to seeing you on February 18th at 7:00 pm.

Sent 2026-02-06: 2026 Election Voting -
Hi All - It's been a while since the 2026 Election packets were distributed to homeowners, so I thought I'd pop back in to all of your lives with a reminder about voting.
Thanks to everyone who has already voted.
For the rest, please deposit your ballot(s) into the locked Ballot Box that sits in front of the SEPO Office weekdays from 8 AM to 4 PM
prior to 1 PM on Tuesday, February 17
which is the day of the Annual Shareholders Meeting when your votes (PLEASE VOTE) are counted.
This is my third year as SEPO Election Committee Chairperson. I know in the past two years some of you have waited to vote until just a few minutes before (or even at) this 1 PM deadline. If at all possible this year, please submit your ballot(s) earlier than the absolute deadline (preferably prior to noon on Sunday, February 15), in order to make the lives of the Election Committee easier when counting 'attendance proxy signatures'. Who knows, you may be working on this committee in future years and absolutely appreciate this early voting request.
As always, if you have any questions about the voting process, the ballots themselves or anything else, please contact a member of your Board or myself.
Thanks everyone for taking an interest in the future of this great community by voting in this all important election.

Sent 2026-02-04: SEPO Communications Addresses -
Hi All - Just a reminder.
Depending on what your SEPO Communication needs are, there are specific email addresses that you need to send your info to.
For your convenience in keeping this sorted out, everything you need should be on the Sunshine website HERE. Go to the 'Rules/Officers' Tab and in the drop-down you will find 'Communication Guidelines'. The direct link to this guidelines page is HERE.

This didn't used to be an issue when I managed all communications because I could pretty much tell who wanted emails sent using (sepoenews@sunshinecountryclub.com), who had things for the Newsletter using (seponewsletter@gmail.com) and when it concerned the website using (sunshinecountryclubweb@gmail.com).

However, now that I'm no longer doing the Newsletter, please try to make sure you are sending your communication to the correct email address to inform the SEPO Community.

Please call w/questions or issues.

Sent 2026-02-03: Fiber Optics -
Hey 👋
Just got notice from the fiber crew, they are going to start on the north side of the golf course tomorrow. Behind 1905 and 1909 Wisconsin. They hope to finish drilling on the south side tomorrow barring any more waterline leaks. If you see water pooling or flowing please let me know so we can get it repaired. They are going to be setting the boxes and cleaning dirt piles as they go, but I will still be doing the walk with them before they leave Sunshine. Thx - Tom Perrier, SEPO Board
