RESIDENTS MEETING TAPE RECORDING

I have been questioned by several residents today concerning the non-availability of a Google Meet Video from the Dec 13 Residents mtg.
I definitely want to ensure everyone - it was a 'technical' error. The Google Meet session said it was recording and I verified to Tony just prior to the meeting that I thought it was as well. You will hear that on the recording I'm linking to below. However, the meeting did not get recorded. Normally Tony gets an e-mail from Google within 2-5 hrs after the meeting stating the video is available for downloading. This time - no e-mail - no video.
In order for me to be accurate and thorough (or as some may interpret as lengthy - LOL) I also start my tape recorder at the beginning of all of our meetings. In order to be totally transparent with the community, which I guess you could call this Board's motto, I have uploaded my tape recording to the Web site for anyone who wishes to listen to the meeting. Please remember, this recorder is lying beside my laptop, and I also shuffle through lots of paper during a meeting, so you will hear those noises as well. I have listened to the entire tape, and you will definitely be able to hear what transpired during the meeting.

As I have stated previously, a recap of all Speaker Requests (which there were five of them during the Residents meeting on Dec 13) will also be recorded into the Board meeting minutes from Dec 14, which I will be sending to the community next week.

I just wanted to let everyone know, due to technical issues with the Google Meet session, we were unable to capture the Dec 13 Residents meeting on video. At this meeting we did have five Speaker Requests. As per process, these will be documented as part of the minutes from the Dec 14, 2021 Regular Board Meeting.

The Video from the Residents (formerly known as Informational) meeting on November 8, 2021 @ 1:00 PM CT is available HERE.

As listed in the agenda, this was an opportunity for those leading the various Sunshine Clubs/Committees to provide information about what's currently going on with their organizations. After these updates were given, there were two non-Board members who requested to speak at this meeting concerning agenda items for the Nov 9, 2021 Board meeting.
AGAIN, PLEASE NOTE - There are no plans to publish minutes from this meeting or any of the ongoing Residents meetings. The only exception is whatever was discussed during the 'speaker' portions of the Residents meetings will be incorporated into the minutes from the Nov 9, 2021 Board meeting.

The first Residents (formerly known as Informational) meeting of the 2021-2022 Sunshine Winter season was held on October 11, 2021 @ 1:00 PM CT and was a Hybrid meeting. Retzlaff Hall was open to Board members and those residents and renters who wished to attend in person, which there were several. The meeting was also available via Google Meet, which several others utilized. Thanks to everyone who attended.
As listed in the Agenda, this was an opportunity for those leading the various Sunshine Clubs to provide information about what's currently going on with their Clubs. After these updates were given, there were no non-Board members who had requested to speak at this meeting concerning the agenda items that will be discussed in today's (Oct 12, 2021) Board meeting.
