Sunshine Estates Property Owners, Inc., (SEPO)

governs Sunshine Country Club Estates (SCCE).

In addition to the Board of Directors ballot, this year there is a proposed change to the Covenants.

 

NOTE: If you do not submit any vote for this Covenant, it is counted as a NO vote

toward the current Covenants requirement in

ARTICLE IX, GENERAL PROVISIONS, SECTION 9.3 AMENDMENT

 To change a Covenant requires the approval of not less than 66% of all 306 eligible votes.

It is my duty as the 2026 SEPO Election Committee Chairperson to report the following from the “Residents & Directors” meeting held on Jan 5, 2026, in Retzlaff Hall at 1 PM.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

SECTION 9.3 AMENDMENT

CURRENT COVENANTS WORDING (summarized):

To change a Covenant requires the approval of not less than 66% of all 306 eligible votes.

​

PROPOSED COVENANTS WORDING (summarized):

To change a Covenant requires the approval of not less than 66% of the votes received from property owners, provided a Quorum of at least 154 votes are received.

A copy of the Covenants Ballot you will be receiving from the Election Committee in a few days was attached to this email and can be found on this website below. Should you have questions before you receive your ballot packets, please reach out. This email along with the Covenants Ballot will also be posted in the SEPO Office for a period of ten (10) days as per Bylaws, ARTICLE VI-COMMITTEES, Nominations and Ballots.
