Hi All - I have returned from a wonderful vacation and am back at it sending your SEPO emails to the community. I got a few of the more simple emails sent yesterday and will be working on sending others today that also require updates/links to the Sunshine website, including the videos from last week's Board and Residents mtgs.

 

Also, I've seen several items on Facebook that would be perfect for a SEPO email: SEPO Activities updates, reminders etc. I'll try to pull off what I can from there, but may be contacting some of you if I need your info in a different format etc.

Dear SEPO members...

If anyone wishes to recycle their shopping bags, you may place them in the plastic bin under the easel in the library. There is a group of your neighbors who are crocheting sleeping mats (using the bags) for those who are suffering from homelessness. Thank you.     - Sherry Schneider

Sent 2026-03-06: Food Drive for SONshine Ministries -  

There will be a food drive just before the St. Patrick's Day Party. These items will be donated to SONshine Ministries. There will be a pick-up truck parked by the hall from 3:00 - 4:00 pm to take these items.

 

For those heading north in the coming weeks, it is a good time to clean out the cupboard.

 

All items are welcome but here are some of the things that they could use the most:

• rice

• beans

• maseca

• peanut butter

• canned fruit

• shelf stable milk

• spicy ramen noodles

• candy for the kids (nothing that melts)

• cookies

• pasta

• chicken bullion

• canned tomatoes

• canned corn

• canned meat (tuna, spam, chicken)

• diapers (adult and baby).

Hey!     We’re charging the Resaca irrigation system today checking for leaks. We’re going to be leaving it charged for several days to see if any leaks work there way to the surface. We are following the lines as we charge each section but if you should see water or wet spots where it shouldn’t be let me know. Thx,
