Sent 2026-03-06: Food Drive for SONshine Ministries -
There will be a food drive just before the St. Patrick's Day Party. These items will be donated to SONshine Ministries. There will be a pick-up truck parked by the hall from 3:00 - 4:00 pm to take these items.
For those heading north in the coming weeks, it is a good time to clean out the cupboard.
All items are welcome but here are some of the things that they could use the most:

Hey! We’re charging the Resaca irrigation system today checking for leaks. We’re going to be leaving it charged for several days to see if any leaks work there way to the surface. We are following the lines as we charge each section but if you should see water or wet spots where it shouldn’t be let me know. Thx,

Sent 2026-03-05: REMINDER - WHILE I'M ON VACATION: SEPO Emails and website updates -
AS A REMINDER
I will be on vacation (out of the country and unreachable for most of it) from Mar 7 thru Mar 16. During that timeframe I do have a backup who will be sending emails for me. However, there won't be any website updates made during this timeframe.
Please keep your emails to 'verbiage only' while I'm gone. No links, pictures or attachments.
If anything happens in my absence that SEPO Emails can't be sent at all, that fact will be posted on the 'whiteboard' outside of the SEPO Office/Library building.
And I might as well put my request in again for the following.
Starting next winter season, my goal is to have one or two of you great Sunshiner's to start assisting me with emails AND website updates. I've been at this for over five years now and I need to start thinking about 'at least' sharing the joy of serving this great community with some of you. 😊

Hear ye, hear ye! All Sunshine Estates residents who have volunteered during this season are invited to a free luncheon complete with music provided by Southern Harmony. Date is March 31 from 11-1pm. We will have a signup 10 days before. Just your name and what you volunteered for! The Women's Club and SEPO board will serve you to say thank you for help you have provided this year to make Sunshine a wonderful place to live.

Everyone is welcome to a demo on making Seed Snails and Winter Sowing.
Don't let winter scare you away, spring is a great time for starting your annuals.
Sandy Huber will demonstrate Winter Sowing and I will show Seed Snails.
You can make one of each on Monday.
Materials to bring, empty gallon milk jug, scissor, and container (plastic or cardboard box) to carry home, and/or 6"×24" bubble wrap.
See you Monday, March 4th, Retzlaff Hall at 4:00.

I noticed over the weekend the guidelines for how to list your home "For Sale or For Rent" on the Sunshine website needed to be updated ever so slightly. So I did that. Please be sure to read them before sending me anything ongoing. And if you are working with a Realtor, let them know as well so they can refer to the updated page at the link above. Or send them the document attached to this email.

It's that time of year when SEPO offers you the opportunity to dispose of your confidential documents. A locked 95 gallon bin will be delivered on March 5th and placed in the library. To allow room for all residents to participate, we are asking you to limit your documents to 1 (one) banker's box quantity per household (dimensions of a banker box are 15" L x 12" W x 10" H).
