We will be selling tickets for the Murder Mystery on Monday at 1pm on Feb 16th in Retz Hall.
This is going to be a fun 1920's style party at the Bees Knees Jazz club (otherwise known as Retz Hall). Music, laughter and fun will be provided along with 1920's inspired appetizers and desserts for $15!
Your ticket will contain a special password to let you in! So keep Sunday evening from 6-8 Feb 22nd free for a fabulous evening!

Stop by the Library from 1130 till 1 on this Thursday Feb 12th to buy your tickets to the Murder Mystery to be held Sunday Feb 22! They are physical tickets with a special password to be allowed into the "Bees Knees Jazz Club". Price is $15 each. There will be 1920s style appetizers and desserts. If you can't make it on Thursday, I will have tickets at 4329 Minnesota St. Look forward to seeing you! - Mary Hull

Just an early announcement regarding our 20's Prohibition Speakeasy Murder Mystery to be held Sunday Feb 22nd. I will need 24 people to play characters (male and female). There is a signup in the library specifically for characters. You will be provided with a character card, certain things you have to say (nothing to memorize!) etc. So find a Roaring 20's outfit now! Character cards will be provided closer to the event.

Variety Show auditions
We would like to Invite anyone who likes to sing, dance, comedy show, play an instrument, or any talent to Audition for the WC Talent Variety Show. This audition will be on Tuesday, Feb. 3rd, in Retzlaff Hall from 10am to noon. We will have to limit it to 10 or 12 shows due to time. So come over and show off your talent.

The Variety Show is March 21st from 630 pm to 830 pm. We will set up practices and I will keep you all informed. Thank you.

The Cookbook Committee is in the beginning stages of creating our community cookbook. For your convenience note cards and a recipe box has been placed in the library. You can drop off your recipes there. Feel free to submit as many as you like. You are also welcome to email them to me: cking59@yahoo.com. Don’t have your recipes here with you? No worries. The deadline for submissions is June 1. You can send to us when you head back home. More information will be available at the WC meeting this month.
