Hello Sunshine community,
I just wanted to let you all know there was a golf cart theft next door at Encore earlier this week. It appears the perpetrators were able to get in through our front gate. See picture (below) and video HERE.
Police have been contacted and our Neighborhood Watch personnel also are aware, but we know our community members must also be vigilant on their own.
So, please keep an eye out and lock your items up.

Cookbook update: The committee is wrapping up this project and is pleased to say we have 348 recipes!! It will be submitted to Morris Publishing in August, with cookbooks at Sunshine in October.
We are so thankful so many of you submitted recipes. With that being said, if you submitted a recipe and did not receive a confirmation that it was received, please reach out to Lisa Ellicott or myself and let us know. We don’t want to miss anyone’s submission.

Sent 2026-07-08: Temporary closure of Sunshine Access Roadway to Encore Driveway -
This applies to those of you who are currently residing in Sunshine.
Our roadway contractor will be constructing a new concrete valley gutter across our access road at Grace Ave as part of our roadway repairs this week. Drivers should not execute a left turn from Texas Ave onto the access roadway. Appropriate vehicles and cones will be in place to remind you of this change.
Be prepared to exit Texas Avenue and turn right onto the freeway frontage road to use the Combes interchange, then redirect your vehicle to proceed south.
It is anticipated that this closure will last 2-5 days, beginning Thursday, July 8, 2026. This projected schedule, however, is subject to dry weather in the next few days.
The pavement on our access roadway at Grace Ave will be overlaid with asphalt to eliminate the potholes at this location once the valley gutter is finished.

Howdy neighbors! JoZ Kitchen will be serving Saturday starting at 11am. They will stay 'til the last person is served. We will set him up near the shade, so it may be in a different place around the circle. Also, I’ll have some music at the pavilion if people wanna hang out and wait. We hope to see you there!

Hi All - Hope everyone had a super Fourth of July (250).
Thank you to everyone who notified me that you were having issues with accessing the video of the Reclamite being sprayed at about 3 miles an hour. I'm not sure what happened but I believe everyone will be able to get to it from the website at the link below in the 2026-07-03 email.
This is the same video that was originally embedded in the Five-Year Planning Committee Report – Board Meeting June 9, 2026 section of Lisa Seiser's email from July 3.
