Doors open at 4pm. Karaoke starts at 4:30.

Taco Truck will be outside the Hall. They accept cash and credit. They will have a great assortment of food. All orders come in to-go containers. The vendor will be at Jackson Street Market Days this weekend, as well. If you want to skip karaoke and just get food, that’s cool. Vice-versa is also cool.

If you’ve never been to karaoke, remember that no one will force you to sing. You can just come and hang out, dance, and watch your neighbors belt out some tunes. Great for line dancers.

But, in order for the entire community to help us improve the conditions and operations of the Sunshine Country Club Estates golf course, I'm sending this GOLF COURSE QUESTIONNAIRE/COMMENTS (see the link in the email sent to you) to everyone. We would greatly appreciate your feedback ASAP.

All responses are anonymous and will be reviewed by SEPO management.

If you have any issue(s)/question(s) with completing this survey, simply reply to this email and I will address it/them.

This is a request to help purchase 72 back packs for the second graders we plan to sponsor this Christmas. I received a $125 donation which will cover about half. These are priced at $2.95 ea plus tax which is a fabulous price. They are on closeout so I plan to order. If you were at the last WC meeting, you heard me say that Jefferson is combining with another school (likely around 100 2nd graders), so this year I will need more help. Every little bit helps. Thank you in advance. I will give regular updates on what is needed, but this was too good to pass up. (BTW, this is NOT a WC project.)

This is the nesting season for both Lesser Nighthawk and Killdeer, which have nested in the gravel near the Dog Park and in other areas. A Nighthawk is currently brooding near #410.

Both species prefer brown stones, so watch for them in rock yards.

Mary Grandy has some cones to place near nests.

Sunshine Residents

It has come to my attention that, twice in the past several months, scammers have used the names and information of Sunshine residents to claim that money is needed to pay a bill. These scams involve using actual residents' email addresses and names.

The scam reads that a named resident is having trouble paying a bill or invoice through Cash App or PayPal and asks if you can help pay it for them. Please make sure that if you receive one of these emails, let me know, and also reach out to the people named in the scam. This scam is convincing because it includes our neighbors' names, so be careful with any request for money.

PLEASE NOTE: A scam is going around the community where you receive an email that appears to be from the president of one of our clubs (their name is listed as sender). The correct president appears to be the sender and the correct treasurer’s name is in the body of the email. The sender is asking you to send money to pay an invoice via electronic means. The email states the treasurer doesn’t have an app, or can’t do this themselves. Please call the supposed sender and confirm this is a scam. The monetary amount varies in each instance.

A paper copy of this agenda was posted in the SEPO office, on the poolside door into Retzlaff Hall and by the mailboxes on April 6, 2026, therefore, meeting the requirement of making it available to the community by the required 72 hours ahead of the meeting. Due to SEPO mailbox issues on Monday, it is just now being sent to the community via email.

Due to the weather forecast the Easter Sunrise service is being cancelled. I am so sorry, but hallelujah for the much needed rain!

Please join us for 10:00 am service in Friendship Hall next door. If you have never been to a service next door I highly recommend it. Pastor Allen’s quick wit and humor make for an uplifting service.

The potluck will be held in Friendship Hall at 12:30.
